Melletios Kyriakidis is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and curator with over two decades of active practice across photography, digital media, large-scale architectural projection mapping, sculpture, and installation. He does not make art in the conventional sense. He works inside the conditions that make art possible, as a teacher, a space-runner, a projector operator at 2am in a car park, a node in a network that keeps culture alive between the moments institutions decide to notice it.

From 2000 to 2006 he co-founded and directed Space3, an artist-run initiative at 151 Regent Street, Chippendale, that became a significant site of Sydney's contemporary art culture and supported many of the city's now-prominent practitioners. Since 2008 he has worked with The Electric Canvas as a large-scale architectural projection mapping artist, transforming the facades of the Sydney Opera House, the National Gallery of Australia, ACMI, Federation Square, and major national festivals including Vivid Sydney, Enlighten Canberra, White Nights Melbourne, and Adelaide Festival of the Arts.

He has held casual academic positions at UNSW Art and Design, UTS School of Design, and the University of Sydney across sixteen years, lecturing in photography, digital media, media arts, art history and theory, animation, and interdisciplinary practice. He is currently teaching at Bradfield Senior College and facilitating student projects for creative arts | projection and instillation initiative..
